Gatti Moto Trial School
We are excited to welcome Tomoyuki “Gatti” Ogawa travelling all the way from Japan to run a one-off coaching school on the weekend of January 17–18.
Gatti is one of Japan’s most decorated trials riders, with an incredible 14 All Japan Trials Championships, including 12 consecutive titles. He remains a major figure in the sport as both a competitor and a coach. His dominance in the MFJ All Japan Trial Championship (JTR) spans the highest levels of competition, including the International A-Class Super categories.
Event Details
We will run two separate coaching days over the weekend, supported by various helpers and coaches, including Pro Art Rider Training.
Saturday Coaching – Smaller Class
- 10–13 riders
- $150
- A more personalised coaching session with close rider support
Sunday Coaching – Larger Class
- 15–20 riders
- $120
- Designed for a bigger group while still delivering quality coaching

- Exact address will be provided after entry for privacy reasons.
- Camping will not be available onsite however we can recommend “James Sharp Memorial park” or “Advancetown Caravan park” nearby.

Welcome to the Western Districts Trials Club, a Moto-Trials club affiliated with Motorcycling Queensland (MQ). We were established in 1982, and are an active club in the sport of Trials riding (also called ‘Moto-Trials’ or ‘Observed Trials’).
We welcome members of all ages, grades, and machines, including Mini-bikes, Modern Trials bikes, Classics, and Twin Shocks. Regular social and competition events occur throughout the year. There is a great family atmosphere at all our events, with plenty of support whether you are a first-time or experienced Trials rider into Trials competition or just social riding.
